More than 15,000 students have benefitted from our programme.

Many children are unable to read and write by the time they’re about to transition to primary school. Some may struggle with reading for a variety of reasons, including limited experience with books, speech and hearing problems, and poor phonemic awareness.

It’s not as simple as teaching children to recognise printed alphabet letters and words, or reading them stories. In our programme, we focus on how to teach the alphabet and literacy skills through a fun and playful manner that makes use of a multi-sensory learning approach. The Zoo-phonics® method was developed to make children strong readers and spellers using their hearing, speech, vision, body movements and their sense of touch. Students learn the sounds of the alphabets and advanced phonemic concepts through an easily understood, concrete method of presentation.

At the same time, we help young children become not only confident readers and writers, but overall joyful learners and healthy achievers. They develop the courage to overcome learning obstacles, self-doubt and fears. For the past 20 years, GUG has successfully implemented the most effective ways of instilling courage in very young children. We use time-tested and distinctive strategies that make learning and confronting challenges fun, easy and successful.
